Statistical Concepts for Business and Management

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is intended to teach students to perform statistical analysis, with emphasis on proper presentation and interpretation of statistics in managerial settings. Topics include descriptive statistics, graphical methods, estimation, testing, regression.

OBJECTIVES:

    - Develop analytic capabilities about statistical problems in business and management
    - Use critical thinking in statistical applications
  • Knowledge:
    - Use analytical skills for conducting business analysis
    - Use statistics to solve real world problems and to develop decision making skills

    - Critical appraisal of statistical analysis in business and management
    - Think about how statistics can be applied in their practice and/or organization
